Professional Experience

Vincent Fu is a founding partner of Gao Kai Law Firm.  He has more than 20 years of legal practice experience in cross-border corporate and transactional specializing in investment fund, private equity, emerging companies/venture capital, finance, and mergers & acquisitions.

Vincent’s corporate practice covers launch of and investment in various onshore Renminbi funds and offshore US dollar funds, outbound pre-IPO investments, various series preferred stock purchase, convertible bonds, joint ventures, restructurings and foreign direct investment, a variety of loan transactions and credit facilities, IPO on offshore capital markets, acquisition and disposition of the equity interests and assets.  In addition to his corporate practice, Vincent advises on transactional entertainment, real estate, aviation, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and general corporate matters.

Vincent formerly worked at a USD fund manager that is well-known in the global private equity real estate investment funds markets.  He worked as the legal director at two PRC companies.  Additionally, his former employers include retailer, real estate developer, asset manager, financial institution, entertainment & media, and chemicals which belong to foreign invested enterprises, Fortune 500, offshore listed companies, private company and state-owned enterprises.

Vincent graduated from USC law school and obtained LL.M. for entertainment law and business law.  Previously, he graduated from Tongji University law school with bachelor degree of economic law.  He can speak English and Mandarin.
